Runners, supporters, and race fans came together in Llanelli for another unforgettable day of racing at the Llanelli Half Marathon & 10K. Sponsored by Tata Steel and powered by an incredible army of volunteers, this year’s event delivered fast times, determined performances, and moments to celebrate for runners of all abilities.
Half Marathon Highlights
The half marathon lived up to expectations with top runners pushing the pace over the scenic Millennium Coastal Path:
🥇 Daniel Hamilton — 1:07:15
🥈 Matthew Nelson — 1:08:18
🥉 Sam Griffiths — 1:08:46
In the women’s race, Lizzie Dimond blasted to the win in 1:21:27, with Gabriella Booth (1:21:47) and Lauren Cooper (1:23:28) close behind.
10K Stars on the Course
The 10K was fiercely competitive with some blistering runs, with Swansea Harrier Josh Griffiths breaking the tape:

🥈 Craig Burrows — 33:53
🥉 Sam Lucitt-Rees — 33:55
On the women’s side, Olivia Tsim led the way to break the tape in 35:33, followed by Donna Morris (36:36) and Kirsty Smith (39:40).

Community, Charity & Support
This year’s race also championed charitable causes and community spirit.
Official charities included Cancer Research Wales, Prostate Cymru, Swansea Community Farm and RSPCA Llys Nini. This gave runners a chance to support the vital work they do, through their efforts.
Corporate Challenge
Winners of the Corporate Challenge, sponsored by Matthews & Co Chartered Accountants were the team at Gravells, who are also were official vehicle partners to the event.
