After the spectacular success of the Llanelli Half Marathon held in October last year, headline partner, M&D Care has pledged its continued sponsorship for the 2022 event. Remaining as the headline sponsor will mean that West Wales’ favourite half marathon will get off to a head start before race day on Sunday, 25th September 2022.
M&D Care has been delivering first-class care services in the community since 2008 throughout the West and South Wales region. They are a family-led business that strives hard to ensure that wherever their services are, the people they support feel part of the community they live in. Michael Bevan, Director of Operations at M&D Care, said:

The M&D Care Llanelli Half Marathon was also host to the Welsh Championship Half Marathon in 2021. Whereby, Welsh favourite Dewi Griffiths of Swansea Harriers scooped men’s first place in a time of 1:09:14 and Sioned Howells of Amman Valley Harriers took first place in the women’s field in a time of 1:20:28. These times were particularly impressive given the conditions of the day, which proved a challenge to the team at Front Runner Events. For the first time in the race’s history, it has moved to the proposed date of September 25th, which will be music to the ears for some runners!
