The organising team behind the Llanelli Half Marathon has announced that all postal entries for the race have now closed.  However, anyone wishing to participate in the long-standing race that attracts runners from all over the UK can still do so online and collect their bib on race day.  To register your place runners have until midday on Thursday 9th March by visiting:

The Llanelli Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 12th March starting at the home of the legendary Scarlets, Parc Y Scarlets.  It will offer runners a rare chance to be part of a closed road race where the route is flat and fast in the beautiful region of West Wales.  Runners will head out towards the National Wetland Centre before joining the magnificent Millennium Coastal Path.  Overlooking Llanelli Beach, the Coastal Path has breath-taking views of the Loughor Estuary and Gower Peninsula.

On race day, runners can expect a fully marshaled race on closed roads, waters stops, thanks to hydration partners Brecon Carreg, energy gels on route, a bespoke medal, finishers t shirt and goody bag.  Entry is just £30 (plus booking fee) for non-affiliated runners and £28 affiliated.

The flat course is perfect for runners racing their first half marathon, for those chasing a PB or for those training for a Spring marathon.  With only 4 weeks left before race day, anyone interested in taking part should register his or her place today.  Entries are being snapped up quickly so to get your place or find out more information go to:
